Through Nova Dutra Road ( BR 116 )

Drive to São José dos Campos ( km nº 149 of Nova Dutra Road) and take Tamoios Road (SP 099)  Drive down the mountain and get to Caraguatatuba. Drive at right towards São Sebastião through Rio-Santos Road (BR 101). In São Sebastião drive to the ferry-boat ( BALSA ) to the crossing of the Channel of São Sebastião towards Ilhabela.

 Through Ayrton Senna Road - also Carvalho Pinto Road ( SP 070 )
 Drive to Guararema and take the Exit of the 96ºkm towards  Litoral Norte ( Caraguatatuba, São Sebastião, Ilhabela, Ubatuba). Take Tamoios Road (SP 099).  Drive down the mountain and get to Caraguatatuba. Drive at right towards São Sebastião through Rio-Santos Road (BR 101). In São Sebastião drive to the ferry-boat ( BALSA ) to the crossing of the Channel of São Sebastião towards Ilhabela.

 

Through Anchieta – Imigrantes Road

This way you drive trough the South Coast towards North Coast of São Paulo State. Just drive trough the Rio-Santos Road (BR 101) towards São Beastião. In São Sebastião drive to the ferry-boat ( BALSA ) to the crossing of the Channel of São Sebastião towards Ilhabela.


From Rio de Janeiro State/City:


Through Rio-Santos Road (BR 101)

Just drive South through the cities of Angra dos Reis, Paraty, Ubatuba, Caraguatatuba, towards São Sebastião. In São Sebastião drive to the ferry-boat ( BALSA ) to the crossing of the Channel of São Sebastião towards Ilhabela.
